Blue Bell Creameries

If you want a taste of a Texas tradition, visit Blue Bell Creameries in neighboring Brenham. Learn about the Texas establishment’s history while taking one of their factory tours, which is offered to visitors on weekdays from 8am-5pm. Take a seat in Blue Bell’s parlor and treat yourself with a scoop of ice cream. Blue Bell is located at 1101 South Blue Bell Rd., Brenham, TX 77833.

Aggieland Micro district

The micro district is located in the industrial section of College Station and Perrine Winery, New Republic Brewing, and Rio Brazos Distillery, all within 100 feet of each other.

Messina Hof

Escape to Bryan-College Station’s own winery, Messina Hof. Messina Hof offers of activities including wine tastings, grape picking, and vineyard tours. You will truly have a delectable experience at Messina Hof. The winery is located at 4545 Old Reliance Rd, Bryan, TX 77808.

Aggieland Safari

Find adventure at College Station’s first and only drive-through safari park, Aggieland Safari. At Aggieland Safari, you will be able to feed and look at exotic animals from your car. Head towards the Adventure Zoo at Aggieland Safari to go to the petting zoo and aviary. Aggieland is truly a unique experience that anyone and everyone will enjoy! George H.W. Bush Library

The George Bush Library is the Presidential library located on the Texas A&M campus. Bush Presidential Library houses both rotating and permanent exhibits— including a permanent exhibit on the life and presidency of George H.W. Bush. The library also regularly hosts keynote speakers, so be sure to check the library’s website for upcoming guests and speakers. Cushing Library

For Game of Throne fans, Texas A&M’s Cushing Library is a pilgrimage. Cushing Library is home to the manuscript of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Fire and Ice book series, which ultimately inspired the HBO show Game of Thrones. The library also holds other archives from the show, such as Arya’s dagger. The Game of Thrones archives are amongst five million other historical artifacts that the Library preserves and stores. The library also hosts the second largest sci-fi collection in the nation. Dixie Chicken

The Dixie Chicken is a historic landmark for any Aggie. Dubbed as the “oldest bar on Northgate”, the Dixie Chicken has been apart of the College Station nightlife scene since 1974. The Chicken has hosted ring dunks for those who have been anointed with Aggie gold and served as a staple hang-out spot for the University. Gunsmoke Shooting Range

Jack Baumann of Gunsmoke Shooting Range is a master class shotgun shooter. He has been teaching shotgun lessons for decades. If you are a beginner or advanced shooter, Jack can take you to the next level. They also host groups if you are looking for a day out with your friends! Santa’s Wonderland

Santa’s Wonderland is a Texas Christmas experience and runs from the beginning of November through the end of December. It is located at 18898 Hwy 6, College Station, TX 77845.

Downtown Bryan

Downtown Bryan is rich with atmosphere, commerce and personal stories. From antique shops and family-owned restaurants, to art galleries and boutiques, this recognized Texas Cultural District is where history meets community. Downtown’s signature event, First Friday’s, is a popular event that includes live music, shopping and dining options.

Slovacek’s

Slovacek’s is a retail store in Snook, Texas that has over 60 feet of meat case to satisfy your exact needs. They offer a full line of top-quality pork and beef cuts, and the best smoked sausage around the Lone Star State. Slovacek’s also offers Wild Game processing.
